Here we go. This update concludes Scylla introduction as a companion, with a dedicated quest and scene. As well as the kobold Iski who finally found her way to the public build!

We are also introducing the skills upgrades tree system, which will bring more depth to the characters customization. Although only the Slash skill of Redic has it at the moment, the back-end itself is ready. So the rest will follow shortly.

Hiho and Samara were the first characters introduced to the game, and their half body portrait were quite dated compared to the other characters, so we improved them to the current standard.

Other notable mentions beside the usual bug fixes and improvements, are two new tracks including the main theme of the game, the knight on pike inn location which can be found in the old docks, and a soundtrack player in the gallery to listen to all the music you unlocked while playing.

Anyway, have fun.

I've just done a run on your game, and I have to say it's pretty awesome. The fight gameplay actually feels nice, the exploration is alright (a bit wonky sometimes, I'm thinking about the stairs used by a lot of NPC in the coast village), text is pretty good and animated scenes are fine. Overall, good job!

I'd point out the only real thing that feels a bit off: sprites moves in the exploration phase. Some NPC tend to slide on the ground, and the running animation of the hero is a bit strange, maybe a tad too slow?

i have some small issues with this: 1. On Samara's overworld character the tattoo on her left arm is absent, also, after performing Scylla's quest, i cant seem to find anymore quests, and Nathan just tells me to talk to the merchant (even though he is not there anymore after the quest). The quests i finished are: Hunter's Bet, Loose Ends, The Scarlet Tithe, Hera's Shipment, Scales of Justice, Blackfur Baccarat, Starting Over. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Samara and Nathan issues will be fixed next build. Check if you are missing anything here: http://priceforfreedom.net/#avarice-walkthrough

Have you considered voice acting? Or maybe in character creator (when it becomes available) to choose a different race or gender? I think voice acting would enhance the game, but it's not required.

PriceForFreedom

Voice acting is a possibility but we are focusing on the rest for now. Protagonist race or gender would require us to change all the scenes, which is out of our resources. But we will have some customization.
