Guys, Rpg Maker was updated about 2 weeks ago, but I didn't notice because it happened automatically (you can check on the website). Since I didn't notice the update, I calmly continued to work. As a result, some functions were incompatible with the new version of Maker. It was a shock. For example, the emotion bubble system began to work by default, I will give an example of why this is important:

The maker only understands the height of the characters (ours is 48x96), but there are many moments in the game when, for example, the character sits down (Rocky is looking for objects, Martha falls on her butt, etc.), but the bubble of emotions remains at the level of the standing character. Or when Martha is hanging on the ivy, the bubble of emotion is at the level of her feet, because Martha is hanging upside down but Maker just sees the height of the character. It looks terrible, but we fixed it. Even the plugin developer warned about this.

Next point:

As you know, in our game the camera is zoomed in (instead of 1:1, we have 1:2) so that the player sees more detail and for players who play on the phone, for example. There is also a problem here due to the Maker update. When moving a character, screen dimming is often used, and at the moment, after such a move, the screen becomes 1:1 before moving to another location. This means that the size becomes standard with small characters (bird's eye view). We are currently trying to resolve this issue.

Sorry guys, but with such problems it is impossible to release a release. Otherwise, all that remains is to fix some text and translate some content.

We have a new team member who works on plugins and music (he noticed and fixed the problem with emotion bubbles). You can see his message on our Itch.io. So everything will function better than before.

I'm attaching an example of one of the locations so you can see the changes. Let me remind you that absolutely all locations have been improved in this way.

Recolor in old school, redrawing of all elements in pixel form, rethinking of locations (this was necessary to complement the storyline and more correct visuals). This all looks really cool with the improved characters etc. Now we need to finish various little things and solve the problem with the zoom camera. I wrote to the plugin developer about this, but I'm still trying to solve it myself.
