Greetings, everyone!

Christmas looms close, which means I get time off from my day job. Of course, this means grabbing some well-deserved rest, but this year, I want to put some serious time into Supermodel as well, especially with the setback from covid these past few weeks. I still have a cough and slight sniffles, but the sickness has almost entirely left my body. Also, my day job had to take priority this week because of essential tasks that needed to be closed before the holidays, so my work on Supermodel has been subpar once more. That ends today, for my Christmas vacation has just started, and I won't return to the office until the beginning of January. Apart from the celebrations, there are no more distractions for a while. Progress, here I come!

In any case, I've been chipping away at the same scene as from last week. I suspect this will be the most complex scene in the first version for a number of reasons, not least the fact that it features many characters at once and has a lot of action, something I'm not used to posing or framing. There are also a few... let's call them "trick shots" that will be used for this scene if everything goes according to plan, but I'm not going to spoil the surprise for that just yet. I had to buy a few new assets because I needed to do visual effects I never needed for LLtP, so that's also fresh. My skills with camera placement are getting challenged to their limits due to all the stuff taking place in this scene and the need to take it all in without becoming disorienting. It's difficult, for sure, but incredibly satisfying and fun after all these years of being stuck with a first-person perspective in LLtP.

So, there's not much else to say than that for now. I'm looking forward to dedicating more time to Supermodel in the coming weeks (between the holiday stuff), and I should probably also do something special for you guys before the end of the year. I'm going to have to think about that one.

Until next time!
