It's easy for tourists to assume that a public hot spring is a place to relax that's perfectly safe from interruption by the local fauna. That's not quite the case in the mountains of Kesti VII. Here, the often unsuspecting tourists are subject to the attentions of the local chevix population, creatures that are sometimes mistaken for rowaform, but aren't nearly so hazardous. The chevix have one desire and that's to take the 'captive audience' of tourists enjoying the hit springs and make sweet love to them until they're spent. Unlike many other such creatures, there are no particularly deleterious effects imparted on the subjects of their enthusiastic ministrations, save a desire for repeat performances that grows with each intimate encounter, though never to the point of compulsion. No one knows how this behavior on the part of the chevix might benefit their species, though it certainly doesn't seem to have any hampering effect on them. Studies continue...
