IMPORTANT, tier update (long post) (Patreon)

Hello everyone, i would like to make an announcemnet:

many times when i open commissions, i get a common comment/question:

"why arent you charging more?" or "you make good stuff for cheap", obviously there are the few who think my prices are way too expensive, but i dont pay them any mind.

the simple answer is the patreon. if i didnt have this patreon, i would probably be charging much more for commissions, to be able to make a living.

that being said, ive been receiving some advice regarding other platforms. Ive always had what felt like a moral dilemma, about opening another support channel so i held a twitter poll asking people´s opinion, and apparently it was just me being too naive as usual, and a couple of fellow artists even reached out to me to tell me that i should have as many platforms available in case anything goes wrong with patreon.

(i took a sigh of relief after i saw the poll results)

so im already doing the research on which site i can rely on next (ko-fi is looking the most promising so far), and with that in mind, i want to make some changes to the patreon tiers.

These will be the changes:

1. ($15 tier) special friend + will no longer be available, however...

2. the early access benefit of the highest tier, will be added to the $10 tier, special friend., and the 3 slots made available to the special friend + tier will be added to the special friend tier, making a total of 10 reward slots if im not mistaken. meaning that there wont be a decrease in monthly reward slots.

3. if you´re not able to get into the special friend tier, but still want to enjoy the early access benefit, a new $5 tier will be made available (early access is usually shared 5 days before, but it will probably change to a 10 day early release after the new tier is added.)

That´s basically it. I hope this wont be too much of an inconvenience for those in the $15 tier.

i would advice that you change your pledge before the 1st of november, since that´s when your accounts are charged if you dont wish to pay those 5 extra dollars anymore.
