I just want to let you guys know about something I've been thinking about doing for this past month or so.

As you guys know, we've always been looking at one day creating a game of our own. But obviously doing that kinda thing requires plenty of experience and knowledge about what software to use, familiarity with that and so on as well as getting used to tackling bigger projects.

We're planning on doing a small project, basically just a sort of slideshow-short story/vignette style thing.

I've got some ideas that I wanted to share with you guys and get your opinion. I'm gonna try and get some of the character concepts drawn up to give you an idea of who will be in what, as well as outlining the possible plots a little bit. Then I'll be looking for feedback from you guys about which you like more and use that to guide our decision making on where we go from there.

Sound good? o:

Also I'm thinking about messing around with Spine2D, hopefully creating some animations with that but that falls under the subject of software I need to learn how to use so it might be a bit slow going. If any of y'all are familiar with it tips & tricks are more than welcome :3

Sorry if this is a bit of a random post, just wanted to let you know what's being thought about behind the scenes and hear what you guys think.

As always, thanks for being our patrons, supporting us and leaving all those lovely comments. <3

I've used Spine2D for a while now and it's great! The learning curve is not very high either, and there isn't much to learn with the interface after a few tuts. Unity is my top suggestion for what to use to create your game, each newly released feature is super cool and the software has come a long long way since competing with flash for browser gaming. There is so much time saving stuff in unity and pre-written code / assets that would speed up development compared to all other platforms I've tried out. If you want a visual novel style game, Ren'Py is specifically designed for creating that kind of game and should be easily to pick up! (little to no coding knowledge required) I am available to try give any info you may need throughout the project so don't hesitate to contact me about this stuff :p

;3; &lt;3 You're such a sweetheart. I'd be crazy not to ask you about it. But you're already helping us so much anyway, didn't want to ask more of you. Prolly gonna take you up on the offer though ;3c

If you ever need any general programming help, come by the Development channel in the Slave Craft server on Discord; <a href="https://discord.gg/RuBp4U9." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://discord.gg/RuBp4U9.</a> It's basically 50% programming discussions at this point. There's at least 3 other developers with varying experience and expertise on there as well as myself. I've got a degree in computer science, work as a developer, and have experience with C/C++, C#, Java, Javascript, PHP, and more. This offer stands for anyone else who needs some help with programming. Don't be afraid to come by and ask questions!
