Anyway. Hey folks, today is actually my birthday, which was part of the reason for this last-minute trip. If I'll be honest, I had been getting a little cooped up at home. I normally try not to make a big deal out of my birthday, but with the weather looking dismal in the next few days and spending the last several birthdays doing nothing, I just needed to go somewhere nice. So I'm using, like... a few years of vacation money all at once. And if all goes as planned, I should be enjoying a nice relaxing evening under some breezy palm trees.
