Character a Day, Batch 3 (Patreon)

I went ahead and stuck with another theme last week and took the opprotunity to add a couple new characters to Gunmetal. However I did also "cheat" a little by drawing some older characters too. It's still a new illustration of each of them, so I'll still count that as a win.

Gunmetal and "The Big Bug" is a really fun setting for me, even outside of just drawing Colette. I like thinking about The Big Bug as a kind of helpful caravan with good people, going through the post apocalyptic world providing a valuable lifeline to distant communities. It'd be like star trek except in a giant car where people each use their expertise to solve unique science fiction problems.

As such a lot of the supporting cast is made up of actual support crews, engineers, mechanics and other people you'd want to have around in a tough situation. Plus some cats, while we're at it.

This week, I'm going to expand on the cast of that SCP type universe I was working on. I'm hoping I can keep up the creativity without just resorting to drawing characters that we already have.
