So Young-woo’s dad pieced together the whole thing during the Sodeok-dong case, the one with the road being built through that town with the tree. If you remember that’s when he went to go speak to CEO Han about it (which is when Kwon saw him leaving her office and the whole nepotism thing happened). Because it was a realization in hindsight and he already saw how well Young-woo was doing at Hanbada after facing hiring discrimination for so long he basically said I’ll allow you to use this information once as a thank you for giving her a career. Just not in a reckless and destructive way like letting them end up in court together as they did on the Sodeok-dong case. I agree with you RJ, there was always a clock ticking on her career bc of that decision he made but the alternative was probably her being fired if he refused anyway, so it’s kind of a lose-lose with one option just allowing for some more time.
