Oppai Orange - Summer Matsuri Label Art (Patreon)

Hey everyone, the label art for Oppai Orange Soda, featuring bountiful beauty Mikan, has come to final "fruition". 🍊

 Thank you to everyone who chimed in on the label concepts on here, X, Bluesky, or elsewhere. It really helped narrow things down.

 The soda bottle will feature two labels, the yukata version and the topless (but covering up) version.

As you can see, there are actually 4 versions in total: nude, bikini, covering up, and the yukata version. There were also considerations with extending out the background art for the bottle wrap and physical paper linework for two versions. The passes on paper certainly helped lock down the image, but man did they take a while.

Back in the day, maybe a little over a decade ago, I always used to draw everything on paper and then scan and finish the art digitally. That was the work flow we'd grown accustomed to over here: concepts, roughs, and drawings on paper; finishing work and color done digitally. Some time around 2014, it became clear that doing the whole workflow on the computer felt fine and was more efficient overall. For one, unless I could accept a fair amount of grime and grit in the pencils, and toothy texture from the paper, I could never use my paper drawing as a final draft. No matter how much I tried to clean up the linework with Photoshop, it always needed a digital redraft to give the art that crisp clean feel I coveted. After a while, working things out on paper became an extra step in the process. From there on, physical sketches were a rare exception.

Nowadays I still work on paper, but mostly for visual notes, working out ideas and early thumbnails, or for practice. The other occasional exception is for creating one-of-a-kind drawings, either for my own caprice, or as sellables -- like this one.

I'm getting a percentage on the project proceeds, so a portion of anything blasted into the Mikan bukkake offering finds its way into me. (This would sound much hotter if I were an attractive young woman, so just imagine I'm Priscylla, or whichever character you'd like caked.)

Finally, I've been doing some clean up, and I'll be getting a new batch of .ZIPs featuring the pics from the Oppai Orange label and the previous Tentacle Grape drink offering, Fruitanari Punch, posted up and sent out shortly.
