Maximillian scared the crap out of me as a kid to the point of whenever this movie was on T.V. and mom and dad wanted to watch it, I would just go to my room and stay there until it was over. The "glass hallway" represents the pearly gates of Heaven. The release of Star Wars in 1977 definitely had a massive impact on Hollywood to the point of where everybody wanted to jump on the bandwagon: In 1978 we had the original "Battlestar Galactica" T.V. series; in 1979 we had this movie, "Alien", "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", "Moonraker"", and "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" T.V. series. Tron (1982) should be considered as your next venture into Disney live action movies. Very ahead of its time and one of the first to use CG.
