I agree with one of your comments during the movie, you said you were glad that they were making good decisions, I was glad that this wasn't a picture where all of the decisions made by the people being chased werea ridiculously bad choice to make. A lot of sound choices were made, they just didn't all work out, which makes it much more interesting

A similar film by the master himself, Spielberg, is Duel (1971). Way ahead of its time, but maybe a little difficult to find on streaming? Not sure.
