Hey kid, wanna learn how to draw? ;)

Alright, so youre interested in the new student tier. There are a fair amount of changes but the core hasnt really changed. The classes are still 1 on 1 and there are 4 lessons a month. However, read below for the new details on the tier and what they offer!

REAPER TIER (Student 1 on 1 class)

  • 1 on 1 Classes via voice call
  • Lessons go from 2-3 hours once a week at an arrange time
  • Subject matter and course depends on the student(Every student is different)
  • The student may pick a 6 month or 12 month course for their desired results.
  • Lesson also includes insights and instructions into better growing your online brand and work. Includes advice on business decisions and expanding reach.
  • See results within 2 weeks!

PRICING: $120/month

THIS TIER IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE

You might be confused as to what this means; there will be a shortlisting process for potential students. I will be providing a test for all those that find themselves interested to see if they're willing to commit to a 6 month or 12 month course. The test is extremely simple, it is not a test of your drawing/technical skills. It is a test on the willingness to commit to the learning process. Details of said test will be provided once I have gone through those interested.

To save your time and money, the shortlisting process is there to help me pick who will be a suitable candidate as I can only take on (currently) one student at a time.

Pricing

"Wow, $120? That's way more than what it use to be!"

Yes, I am aware of this. I even talked to my previous students about this pricing. The old pricing was made back in 2018 when I was still very much new to teaching. It was as much of a test for both me and the student than it was about the actual course. After much research and feedback, $120 seems to be the most accessible pricing especially for my current skillset. The classes are 100% 1 to 1 with near 24/7 consultancy off and on calls.

To compare, CGMA courses, a school dedicated to teaching a much larger amount of students with close to 0 one on one interaction between teacher and student; Charges $350 a month. That equates to $2100 for half a year. Doodle Warriors, an online learning course charges $30 a month but subjects all students to learn via prerecorded online video tutorials with no 1 on 1 classes.

This pricing seems fair to both me and those that are willing to commit to a long term course that would provide them with the necessary skills to continue self learning after the lessons have long been over.

Ok, I'm still interested! What now?

Awesome! If after all that you're still interested, send me a patreon DM or email me at qtori.art@gmail.com

In the DM/Email let me know the following:

  • Do you have any current experience with being able to draw?(Its okay if you have absolutely 0)
  • What do you hope to gain from the lessons?
  • How long do you plan on doing this course for? 6 or 12 months?

If you have had any past experience with drawing, attach your old sketches/artwork/doodles in the DM/Email.

If I find that we could work together and have potential at making the course work, I will respond with the test details! Once the student has been chosen they will be assigned the new Reaper tier role!

Thank you again for doing a big read on this, I tend to not do long types as its not really my thing. cause you know i draw

tl;dr new tier its $120 a month, email me if youre interested we'll talk

Hey future students, I was Tori's most recent mentee for the past 3 years and I want to share my experience of the mentorship. When I began, we took a few weeks to cover art fundamentals (head & body drawing, perspective, art style studies, etc.). Afterwards, I was in the driver's seat, choosing what I wanted to draw and had to deliver a work-in-progress at the end of every week for critique. These mostly self-directed, weekly critiques were how the course functioned for the rest of the time I was Tori's student. Personally, I really enjoyed the freedom to draw what I wanted and Tori's feedback was incredibly helpful. Thanks to that freedom, I began to really enjoy art and got into a drawing habit that kept me making art. I supplemented Tori's mentorship with a ton of art YouTubers such as Proko, Marco Bucci, and Sinix Design, to name a few. Their videos did help quite a lot in either showing me new ways of doing things or a different explanation on a topic Tori taught. When I felt ready to post my work on Twitter, Tori was a huge help in navigating that landscape. If you want to see how my art has progressed my Twitter account is: https://twitter.com/CrisspyArt Leaving Tori's mentorship, I felt that I had the skills to take my art education into my own hands and the confidence to tackle any drawing challenge. My biggest regret of the course was that I didn't challenge myself as much as I needed to. I hope that if you are selected for Tori's mentorship that you come out a better artist than I am and challenge yourself each and every week. Thank you for reading, I hope this helps. If you have any questions about my experience, feel free to ask.

would this be added as a visible tier, or is this a separate payment?
