hope is basically a teen just lashing out and making very poor choices in this ep. I can see why you found her annoying but she actually aint that bad in this show. She'll grow on you. I just hope you don't condemn her character and blantantly blindly hate her for the rest of the season because of her dumb choices in the first episode. I hope you do give her a chance and space to grow with the given context of her being a teenager, having her own issues, etc.

Yeah, I didn't like Hope either. Didn't like her then and don't like her still. I didn't mind young Hope as much. Older Hope comes off pretty annoying to me, but it's more than that. I could forgive her just for teen behavior. However, there is something about her (and I can't pinpoint it) that makes me just never warm up to her.
