Well, okay, I made a profile for her.

I have an optional plan for her as an extra side story, but it's in the category of plans that are not a priority, and it will only happen if the game works well and people want it. For now, she will stick to her original use and not have that side story.

She will be in the first update and have her role.

I named Angels and Demons, I don't know if I should have invented a new race name, I thought people might get lost... There is a possibility that I will use different names in the future, I want to make it less "bad vs good", I don't want the angels to be 100% good and the demons to be 100% bad. But again, that's not the focus of DH at all, so it's not that important for now. They exist in this world, but this story isn't made to explain that aspect.

Heraless will appear, but I don't think you'll see another fantasy character in DH. (I might change my mind if I have an idea for a subplot).

Of course, in the future I should present the characteristics of my version of demons and angels, but that's not the focus of the game, so there might be references to it, but it's not very present.

(This is not a render, just a screenshot of 3D the scene, it's a wip so there is more props to add, more textures to work.)

I'm working on the environment, to be honest it's much harder than I expected. So far I only used a premade asset for the CwG environment, and since it was 100% inside, it was easy to manage, as no connected to anything else.

Now I am trying to create an outside, so it also has to be connected to every street, house, etc... It's very complicated (even more complicated in the 3D software because it's big).

When I say complicated, it's also because of the time it takes. For example, I could take a day to make a tree look super good, but imagine if I'd take that time to create every single element... It would take a year to get everything done.

It's okay, it's kind of a new experience for me, so I get to see what I can actually do, how fast I can go, etc... And I have to find the right balance between simplifying the design and making it look good enough.

Yes, I named the residence Divine Heel, it wasn't planned, but it's okay haha! Also, I could use it to make images to present the game.

I have to do a lot of detail work in order to create an area where we can imagine a real life.

Since I realized that it would take a lot of time, I'm focusing on the area of the first update as a priority:

Around the CWG house, the DH residence, the outside with the park, and the apartment inside.

Also, I think I'll have to update the floor 1 with the entrance and the elevator.

I'll also have to make simplified models of random people to populate.

There is a concept in modelling and gamedev called "kitbashing". You probably know about it, but in the off chance you don't, it's basically creating new models by building from generic smaller components, repurposing other ones and generally "throwing something together" that looks sufficiently good. As the main focus of your story is the characters, I believe you don't need to focus all too much on making the best environments. Building something that just gets the point across might be enough for this game - and keep you from a lot of headaches. Nevertheless, great work! Love reading these updates, looking forward to more!

So our main "hq" will be an apartment building, nice. I can already see many "warm" neighbors. Also i tought that Heraless would be some kind of fairy, not an actual woman-sized being (which is a really good thing btw).
