Hérodiade was kneeling on the old armchair and the hypnotic sensuality of her back led me to take three photos, more and more close. A sort of triptych emerged, a "trilogy of desire", which started from the vision of her pictorial back, with the desire for a more spiritual and ethereal sensuality (as was that ray of light through the window, how can be it "the presentiment" of a desire). Then going through a sort of physical sensuality, with a more carnal desire ("the return"), we came to the vision of a voluptuous sensuality, a desire full of tangible eroticism ("the touch")

If it is true that we desire what we see, it is also true that we always want to return from what has been able to touch our desires

 Hérodiade era inginocchiata sulla poltrona d'epoca e l’ipnotica sensualità della sua schiena mi portò a scattare tre foto, sempre più ravvicinate. Ne venne fuori una sorta di trittico, una “trilogia del desiderio”, che partiva dalla visione di quella sua schiena pittorica, con il desiderio di una sensualità più spirituale ed eterea (come lo era quel raggio di luce che entrava dalla finestra, come può esserlo “il presentimento” di un desiderio). Passando poi attraverso una sorta di sensualità fisica, con un desiderio più carnale (“il ritorno”), arrivava infine alla visione di una sensualità voluttuosa, un desiderio carico di erotismo tangibile (“il tocco”)

Se è vero che desideriamo ciò che vediamo, è anche vero che vogliamo sempre ritornare da ciò che ha saputo toccare i nostri desideri
