Sunset in California - Anna (Patreon)

I haven't really been shooting at all the last couple months, and have been away in Hawaii the last 5 weeks, but i came home briefly for the Thanksgiving holiday and had an acquaintance from the Ukraine visiting Los Angeles, so she crashed at my place for a few nights and we went to see the sunset  at my favorite tide pool.  

Surprisingly, Anna was afraid to make her way down the path worn into the slope to the tide pool, and I thought for a few minutes she was going to chicken out completely. She braved it though, and made her way down slowly to catch what turned out to be an amazing sunset. The Pacific was glassy and the sky was so clear we could easily see all of Catalina island and even clearly see San Nicholas island beyond that.  of course she was inspired to remember the event with some images, so she got to play model for me for a little while. I haven't even shot anyone with this sort of body type before, and I don't really think I know HOW to shoot it. Maybe we will get to try again before she leaves the US.
