Ravenholm - A city in Ruins

Nestled in the mid-southern reaches of the Westmark, the city of Ravenholm lies at the terminus of the grand Dyer’s Road. This thoroughfare stretches from Ravenholm, winding through Falebury with its exquisite dye houses, past Laxborough, and onward to the north, until it finally concludes its journey in the barony of Timpleburrow. Along the way, it grazes the famed settlement of Sessels Cross, renowned for Sessels’ magical workshop. Ravenholm once stood as a prosperous metropolis, boasting the finest timber north of the Black Arms, and its engineers and woodcraft were lauded far and wide.

But then, silence. Communication from Ravenholm ceased abruptly. Taxes went unpaid, and merchants who set out for the city never returned. The towering walls, a hallmark of Westmark cities, remained intact, showing no signs of violence. Yet, when brave adventurers scaled these walls, they were met with a sight of ruin within. Overgrown and collapsed, as if the city had been razed a century ago. What could have transpired here?

Ravenholm now stands as a trove of potential quests and mysteries for intrepid players.

The ruins might house a hidden treasure, signal an impending evil that must be kept at bay, or serve as the entrance to a dungeon. The city’s fate is a riddle wrapped in a mystery, waiting to be unraveled by daring adventurers.
