Wolves
Wolves are natures way of reminding humans that their superiority extends only as far as their city walls. Those who still venture forth into the frontiers are wise to fear the wolf, the grey-haired and yellow-eyed incarnation of the hunt. Many tribal cultures worship the wolf as totem animals, venerating them as bringers of swift death and cunning hunters, as well as symbols of unity and cohesion.
Lone Wolves
For all their might, wolf packs live dangerous lives on a knife’s edge. Bad weather, lack of food or the confrontation with a superior opponent can spell certain death for a whole pack. And even those who narrowly escape death may succumb to the hardships of the wilderness. But some adapt to a life of solitude. They develop a sharper instinct for survival and become more cunning than their packhunting kin, often stalking their chosen prey for days before deciding on the ideal moment to strike.
Wolfkin
Those afflicted by the Curse of the Wulfen slowly lose themselves to the bestial urges festering within their soul. After each hunt it gets harder to take on human form and even the horrid shape of the manwolf becomes difficult to maintain. Soon the Wolfkin have all but forgotten what it means to be human and fully dedicate themselves to the hunt. Bigger, stronger and blessed with a remaining spark of malicious intellect, Wolfkin soon find themselves in charge of a pack of regular wolves, often answering the call of other hunting Wulfen, eager to redden their maw in the ensuing bloodbath.

Health Warning for Users with Epilepsy
When using animated Beneos Battlemaps, it's important to be aware of potential health risks, especially for individuals who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. Some of our maps contain elements that could potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. For instance, lightning effects from storm animations on certain maps simulate strobe-like flashes which could act as a trigger. If you or anyone in your gaming group has a history of epilepsy or seizures, please consult a medical professional before using these animated maps. Additionally, users should take breaks regularly while playing, play in a well-lit room, and avoid playing if they are feeling fatigued or have had little sleep, as this can increase the risk of a seizure.
