Hey Patrons,

Hope you’ve been enjoying all of the new content that we’ve been rolling out over the month of April. The month is almost at an end, so I’m casting my gaze to the future and wanted to share some updates and teases with you - the people who make all of this possible.

The Youtube channel is undergoing some changes, presently. As you know, both Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning had their season finales and left us with very much food for thought. For those Jay Washington fans among you, I’m planning to have Jay continue appearing on the channel - this week’s Arrow review might be a good hint at where you can expect to see him! This month I also rolled out my How Advanced is Wakanda? Video. Long form deep dive nerd videos are where, ideally, I would like to drive the channel toward. With Avengers: Infinity War on the horizon you can look forward to another Marvel-themed long form video coming your way shortly. If these are the types of videos you like, please LIKE and SHARE. They’re more production heavy videos (I need a writer and an editor and they need to be paid), so views are most important on those videos. Your support here on Patreon is what allows me to even consider taking on bigger productions like this new serious and I value the opportunity to try this stuff out. Thank you.

Speaking of Infinity War - on Geek History Lesson we’re in the middle of a pretty heavy Superman focus in celebration of Action Comics #1000 including a return to our more history-driven episodes with the upcoming: Superman: the Silver Age episode dropping on Monday. By the by, if you haven’t checked out our Top 5 Greatest Superman Villains with special guest DJ Wooldridge (Source Fed, Only Stupid Answers), you are missing out on an amazing discussion! After that we’re going to enter into a Marvel-centric focus and finally deliver two episodes that people have been asking for since the launch of the podcast: Thanos and Iron Man. Get excited, students!

Time to write about, well, writing. This is always my favorite part to give an update on, even if it tends to be a little more nebulous than some of the other content you help me produce. Jupiter Jet #5 is now in stores. This means? The first volume is complete! Next mont the trade paperback comes out and we’ll start discussing the future of that book. It’s taken over two years and it’s completely amazing to have the whole story out for the world to read. Ashley and I have started work on a new OGN that we will be announcing later this year. We’ve gone through some struggles to get the right artist on the book and we think we’ve finally found her. When we get some cool concept art together I’d love to share it with all of you here.

Last weekend we were in Portland for Wizard World: Portland and at the end of May we’ll be in Ontario, California for Comic Con Revolution (May 19 & 20). There we’ll be doing a live Geek History Lesson discussion INFINITY GAUNTLET vs GREEN LANTERN RINGS: The Most Powerful Weapon in Comics. Even if you can’t attend the convention we’ll be recording the podcast live and putting it up on the feed. The following weekend we’ll be in Phoenix, Arizona for Phoenix Comic Fest (May 24 - 27). If there are any Patrons in Ontario or Phoenix who want to stop by and get Jupiter Jet signed or chat we would absolutely love to meet you!

I hope this update gave you an idea of what I’ve been up to recently. Your Patreon support is what allows me to create all of this unique stuff and deliver it directly to you and I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to create comics, videos and podcasts.

Thank you
Jason Inman

Even though, I've bought every individual issue on comixology, I have to own a physical tpb for the re-readability.
