some snow (Patreon)

don't get me wrong, san diego has by far the nicest weather of anywhere i have ever lived, and i don't want to change my living situation. but some days i do miss when it was this terribly cold outside and the thrill of the snow on my bare skin. on this specific day two winters ago, i was 5 months pregnant and the air was in the high 50s so my sister and i took a hike deep into the woods. that warm of temperature mixed with the freezing cold snow made for a glorious end of winter hike.
