Another year passes means another year of wisdom, trials and errors, successes and failures. Now that my birthday is done and over with, it's time to start grinding on that life exp to level up again in another trip around the sun. I wonder what new things I'll learn and how my perspective will change? Makes you think...

Commissions are chugging along and I've been making great strides on the back end of HB2, so there's a lot to look forward to...

Lustfall Update 9

While the Kickstarter didn't work out for us, it's business as usual for Lustfall. I'm hoping that HB2 really knocks it out of the park in sales so I can take the time I need to actually make the ending of it, but until then, at least Update 9 is in a good spot.

When you are finally able to make your way to the very bottom of the Tomb of the Collector, you will encounter this room with the boss right behind it. If you think opening it would be easy, however, you'd be sorely mistaken. Will the heroines be able to solve the mystery of the ancient pyramid before they become a permanent, shining part of the collection?

Most of the ground work for our second bonus dungeon is complete as well! I'm setting up the enemies, the Warden fights, and looking into some extra assets for the boss of the prison like we had with the corrupted drone from the first bonus dungeon.

The possession effect is coming along nicely (as you can see from this still image, our heroines are forced to move a specific path once possessed). Possessed characters will auto-battle, so it might get tricky if you can't manage to find some accessories in the dungeon that prevent it. As a trade-off, they deal more damage to some enemies (including the wardens), so it's not just a hurdle.

I also might add on a few more battle cards that I have currently planned since these past few weeks worth of sales have been good, but that is determined both by time and artist's availability. Same goes with adding in a few more End CGs.

As far as the timing goes for the update? I'll have more of an idea once I can finish this side dungeon in its entirety and more of the art comes in. Probably January if I had to make a ballpark guess?

Hanaja's Body 2 in One

The first milestone of the art by none other than Zinovia_star and our leading ladies are looking fine as hell!

Five wonderful creatures, one single body.

These are our base transformations. Each transformation and mix with another transformation to be a half/half (art is currently being worked on for the combos). While the story's focus is around Hanaja and Victoria, each of the other characters will get some time to shine in their own respective stories (levels).

What does that mean for combat? Well well well, transforming just wouldn't be as much fun without it also affecting combat! I'll get more into the attacks and the power up system later (same base code from the DoV games, but you instead spend transformation specific XP you get from using skills in combat).

Welcome to the battle scene... mostly! Obviously, this is very WIP with placeholders and other little blemishes that I use for testing and debugging purposes. If you're familiar with the rest of the Body games, this is nothing too new, but there are some differences than in previous games.

First is the bar(s) to the right of the Vitality gauge. This is this generation's TF meter. You can see that the pink bar is reaching out to the left. Once it his the icon, it will be considered full and the "Primary" transformation of the player will change. After that is full, further transformations will move the bar to the right, until the "Secondary" transformation is reached. That will then trigger the other transformation.

For example, Victoria is considered Vampire-Vampire. If these very placeholder enemies were to use dragon based attacks to TF her and fill the bar up, she would become Dragon-Vampire (half dragon TF, half vampire TF) further dragon based attacks would then push the bar in the other direction until she transforms again, becoming Dragon-Dragon (the dragon character as seen above).

For the most part, the "Primary" and "Secondary" terms don't mean a whole lot to the player. Dragon-Vampire is exactly the same as Vampire-Dragon. The only change right now is the over-world sprite, which will represent the TF in the first ("Primary") slot on the equip screen.

Aside from a ton of back-end stuff, I've also finished the "Reaction" system. It's hard to show from the battle screen, so I'll just show you the some database info.

What is the Reaction system? Well, for those of you familiar with the game, Genshin Impact, it's a simplified version of their elemental reaction system (made sexier).

ID0014-ID0018 are what we call "Auras." Both your and enemy attacks may apply these auras to those whom they attack. By themselves, they do nothing. It's what the heart icon in the previous image is under Victoria's health bar. However, if you were to use an attack that applied a different aura to the character than the one that was already on them, the two would cause a unique "Reaction" to occur.

Each effect is different and has different uses. For example, applying Hex Aura to someone with Bloodlust Aura will cause them to become afflicted with Crimson Curse. This is a status effect that heals the enemies that attack the cursed one...

Using an attack that applies Hex aura to someone with Sub aura causes a different type of reaction called "Passion!" This isn't a status effect like Crimson Curse is, and instead multiplies the incoming damage from the attack that triggers "Passion!"

While I won't go through all of them now, there's a lot of strange and unique effects to exploit, including Spell Singe that damages the afflicted when they try to us Magical attacks, or Soul Burn, a particularly nasty effect that turns any healing into damage (including healing from sources like Crimson Curse!).

You can also see that I have a healthy lead on the general aesthetic of the game, going for a book-motif for the menu and using the same typeface as I did with Hanaja's Body for the menu and game stuff (with a special typeface for dialogue that's easier to read and more storybook like).

My work on Hanaja's Body 2 in One has only just began, but I am already having a great time with all of the potential and possibilities that can arise from the Reaction system, the Quad-Element system and the power ups. The focus for this month has been on combat, since getting the groundwork for it is most important, but next month I hope to show off all of the fusions and some of the over-world transformation skills.

Thank you all for the support so far, and I hope that everyone is super hyped to see more of what's in story for the next, super exciting game in the "Body" series!!!

Stay kinky~
