I've been wanting to see this for years and I wanted to love it but for the most part this felt more like homework than entertainment. Max Von Sydow is quite good as Antonius Block but not a lot else really captivated me. I do intend to revisit it ,as I feel like this film has the potential to offer more on repeat viewings.
