Yep. I did it. 25 pages (not including front/back matter). WOOF. The ending ended up being pretty good, and guess what? It ends with Freddi and Jack talking to one another. Finally! I'll add it to the big chapter list shortly. See next...

Scheduled break
I am planning a scheduled break in chapter release for the beginning of 2021. This is so that I can spend this month and next working on two seasonal specials, as well as managing the one year Familiarversary, launching Firebird, and potentially working on some Familiar-centric side projects (like the oracle cards and some merch). I also know the beginning of the year is typically slow anyway. So, here is my projection on release calendar (to be concretized):

• 08 FIREBIRD - public release Sept 30 (advanced access 9.24)
• HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - public release Oct 31 (advanced access Oct 28)
• 2X ELIXIR - public release Nov 30 (advanced access Nov 24)
• NEW YEAR SPECIAL - public release Dec 31 (advanced access Dec 24)
• 09 WICK - public release Feb 28 (advanced access Feb 21)
• 10 FOUR - public release TBD

Seasonal specials
To give myself a short break before launching into the next big story arc -- but still make sure I'm releasing content regularly -- I'm going to introduce two short (4 or 6 pages + cover) specials: one for Halloween and one for New Years. Though they are short, they'll be in full color. I will be working on the Halloween special this month, and the New Years special during October.

Discord server
Many of you are already aware, but I launched the Familiar Discord server, Cat's Coven, last week. Kind of by accident. Anyway, it's there now! You'll see the chrysanthemum icon in your server bar. Because of how the Patreon bot works, please notify me if you wish to be excused from the server. I will ban you so the Patreon bot doesn't keep adding you each month. 

Also note that it is not my intent to post exclusive content to Discord. The perk of Discord is conversation with the Familiar community (wow, we're a community!); I still plan to use Patreon as the primary distribution method for behind the scenes stuff, panel previews, polls, etc.
