Newsletter coming out a little later in the afternoon today because when I wrote it, I wanted to be able to say...
 🔮  08 Firebird (Act I finale) completed
WHEW. This was a huge chapter, not necessarily in terms of # of pages, but in narrative content, visual stuff (it covers a ton of complex locations including Central Park and The Spot... and I drew an African Wild Dog. Have fun imagining how that works in), emotional characterization... Anyway. I did it. It's ready. And with that, I'm pleased to announce that it will publish on the 1 year anniversary of Familiar, September 21, 2020. I will update the chapter list to reflect this soon!
🔮 May poll
This month I'll be thumbnailing a new Act II filler chapter tentatively titled POTION. It'll be witch-themed since it will probably drop on Halloween. This month's poll will probably have to do with this chapter, but I also have room for a segue page in Firebird. So maybe we'll do two polls this month, or maybe we'll do that third Firebird poll or maybe we'll do Diana's sexy witch Halloween costume. HMMM
🔮 New Patreon goal added
You may have noticed that I added a new goal to the Patreon goal list thingy. I've always liked livestreaming and answering Familiar questions from people, so I thought why not combine those together. Once we hit that $750 milestone I'll figure out the best way to do a livestream Familiar AMA, where I can draw responses to questions from Patrons. I'll be sure to set up a way for people to send questions even if they can't make the live event. Should be fun. 
🔮 Covid-19 update
April was a bit rocky here in Soushiyo land but things have somewhat stabilized. To that end I'm resuming Patreon charges for May so I can continue to work work work on Familiar and stay on schedule. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone, and a special shout-out to those Patrons who joined in April and who sent me $$$ via other channels. It means the world to me.
