Slight narrative restructuring (Patreon)

If you've checked the chapter list recently you probably noticed I've been making some changes. Here's an update about that.

I finally had a chance to sit down with Clem, my life partner and indispensible story editor for Familiar, and read through chapters 07 and the script for 08 with her. Based on her feedback and a few days of story breaking, I've decided to make some revisions to the story and chapter order.

This includes taking the sex content from Chapter 07 and moving it into its own filler chapter (now the first filler chapter!) to be released after Chapter 06 and before we come out of the origin story.

07 is now going to be a primarily plot driven chapter taking place the day after the book launch party, focusing on the shake down from the previous night's events.

There will be a second filler chapter after 07 and before 08.

 Another change that Influencers may notice is that the final page for GIFT - which was the topic of December 2019's poll - has been changed to something that fits in better with the new script. Not to worry, though, that final page/scenario will be used at the end of 07 or Desk Job. I will also post it to Patreon when I post GIFT so you at least get to see it :)

Here's a summary of all that in the form of an updated tentative release schedule:

• Chapter 06 - SIR - still scheduled for public release end of February
• Chapter 1X - GIFT - Sexy massage with the real Jack Albright
• Chapter 07 - CENTER - Day after the launch party
• Chapter 1X - DESK JOB - Filler
• Chapter 08 - FIREBIRD - Act one finale

Despite this restructuring I should still have no problem continuing to release one chapter every two months. I'm probably NOT, however, going to be able to squeeze a filler in on the off months. LOL.

Also note this re-ordering is going to get a touch confusing for January, since we're doing a poll for Chapter 08 right now, but as it stands at the moment, 08 won't be coming out for a while. Nevertheless, the poll results will apply, and I will be appropriately crediting Patrons. As a reminder, you get a thank you credit on any chapter I work on during months of which you are subscribed. In other words, anyone subscribed in January 2020 will see their thank you credit on chapter 1X Gift, 07, and 08, since I'm in the process of working on all three of those. 

Okay. That's the update! It's a lot of work but ultimately the story will be much stronger for it.
