I guess the “final” part to my little mini series (+ both comic pages)

It’s a bit introspective and deep and totally not like my typical art, but this was very freeing to make.

This little series is about facing my unresolved trauma and mourning the person I used to be “before the trauma”. I don’t really talk about my personal life much, especially here, but it’s something I’ve struggled with for a couple years now and making this has been incredibly healing. I felt like to finally move past that trauma, I needed to lay to rest the idea of who I used to be and be okay with that change.

Boltie’s original design will still be used for nostalgic things, but a more “personal” rendition for me feels right. I’ve had the same design for her since 2008ish, she desperately needed it! (For fun comparison I attached her original refs below!)
