So Clint said you shouldnt mess with their boss whos probably her uncle. They didnt show the uncle but it was someone big with a suit and we heard his laugh.. For me when he laughed he sounded like Wilson Fisk from Daredevil.. and it actually would fit.. Also really loved the Pym Arrow that was awesome. And they shot the traffic light so that the other cars stop. And the last arrow Kate shot was just an usb arrow thats why it didnt do something

The actress is indeed deaf in real life, since birth. If someone would like to have a career in travel and tourism, learning languages can be quite useful in the future. But that should be the students choice if they want to learn a language, I hope I'm making sense.

Hands down, best episode so far. It had everything: the action, the humour, the heart, some unexpected fanservice and the Clint-Kate dynamic really kicks into high gear in this one. Can't wait for what's next.

The deaf woman was Maya Lopez, also known as Echo. She has the ability to replicate movement, kinda like Taskmaster, which is probably what that Karate scene with her as a kid at the beginning was meant to establish. I don't think she's supposed to be connected to the Tracksuits, though. But she does become Ronin in the comics. The character is supposed to be getting her own Disney+ spin-off, which is probably why they've put so much emphasis on her.

It's funny that Kate doesn't seem to be a fan of Imagine Dragons. Because just before Hawkeye dropped, another show starring Hailee Steinfeld (as the voice of the main character) called Arcane, premiered, which had an Imagine Dragons song as the intro theme.

After the first episode, I was a little concerned that Renner might've been getting a bit old to do all the action stuff. In that one fight scene he had, they clearly didn't want to show us his face. Sure, maybe it was just for Kate's surprise, but maybe it was also because it was an obvious stuntman. But after this episode, I'm not worried. I mean, Renner probably isn't actually doing a lot of it himself, but it at least LOOKS better. And let me just say, I appreciate that Kate is not just the typical female badass. They obviously set her up to have a lot of skills (archery, fencing, martial arts, etc.), for sure. But she's also lacking in others. Stealth, escapology, espionage, knowing how to use her environment to her advantage... Makes her more relatable and fun to watch. Helps also that she's excitable, funny and a bit awkward.

I really hope that by the end of this, Kate ends up joining the Barton family at the Christmas dinner table. And Pizza Dog, of course.

Dropping an giant arrow on a bridge seems dangerous for all of them. Also I wanna see the peoples faces when they have to remove that giant arrow

The acid arrows made the street lights fall down causing the traffic to stop in those two directions

Maya Lopez in the comics is primarily a Daredevil character, She started out as one of his villains because she thought Daredevil had killed her dad but it was really Kingpin (who was also her adoptive father). She figured it out when her boyfriend Matt Murdock revealed he was Daredevil. needless to say she switched sides. She was the first Ronin in the comics. Currently I think she;s a host for the Phoenix Force. Also her dad's bloody handprint on her face is straight outta the comics, later on as an adult she uses white face paint to recreate the handprint. It's neat. I think her uncle is Kingpin but I could be wrong. (I hope it's Kingpin). The dude she's talking to, Kazi, he's a clown themed vilain in the comics who flirted with Kate a few times. He's not that important. Loved the Pym arrow. ALSO LUCKY THE PIZZA DOG GOT HIS NAME!

2023-01-01 13:41:07 great reaction, the car chase/arrow fight scene is incredible, it has one of the best one shot(possibly some very well hidden cuts) in all of marvel, also really love all the trick arrows, The scene where Kate is helping Clint talk to Nate on the phone is heartbreaking, especially when he says "happy to hear your voice". I really love how they were able to develop Maya's character brilliantly in just one episode, the girl who plays young Maya is actually Alaqua Cox's(Maya) niece, I also wish I would have learned Sign Language as well, I had French, Spanish & Latin throughout school and I don't remember much of any of the 3
