This episode just reminded me how much I love Stefan. I've always been a Delena shipper, but Stefan has always been my favorite :) He was going to leave and let Elena and his brother be happy - he deserves so much more than what he got this episode.

I think Klaus offered up his blood so easily because Caroline was the one who was asking for it. I LOVE the “I’m not sorry” scene. Love, love, love! The look of surprise and joy on Damon’s face when Elena says “I am not sorry that I’m in love with you” just makes me love Damon even more than ever. His whole speech about how wrong he was for Elena… IMO it was all about the fact that he was convinced Elena was going back to Stefan, and he wanted to make it easy for her. I just love how much Damon did for Elena all season, the whole time never really believing that Elena felt for him the same way he felt for her. And from the look on Elena's face when Damon finished speaking, before she started her "I'm not sorry" speech, I think she knew that's what Damon was doing, that he was trying to make it easy for her to tell him, "sorry, it was all the sire bond, Stefan's the one I really love." Of course, he was wrong, Elena had been telling him all season that her feelings were real, so I don't get how anyone can find it even a tiny bit surprising that she was telling the truth all along. Also, was the word you were looking for self-deprecating? That doesn't feel completely right, but it's the closest word I can think of to what you were describing.

My absolute favorite thing about season 4 is that the whole season EVERYONE is fighting for the cure, and the ONLY person who doesn't want it is the one who gets it lol. The doppleganger thing is a bit confusing at this point, but they explore the lore behind it in S5 and it will make sense :) Also - Delena. Must I say any more? :D:D I am SO SO SO looking forward to seeing your reactions to relationship-Delena and human-Katherine next season!!!!

I agree with you 100% I feel sorry for stefan because seeing the love of your life love someone else must be absolutely heart breaking and he does deserve someone who loves him and him only. And seeing how the hunters died, i don't think their curse is activated if you killed one. Oh and even though bonnie bugs me at times, she really does get the shit end of the stick.

Very few show do a finale as well as Vampire Diaries. They had a lot of stuff going on in this episode spending and extra 10 minutes on werewolf venom drama really would of just taken away from the rest of the episode I think.
