Abe and Izzy (Patreon)

The quintessential Abe and Izzy! It’s definitely interesting trying to accomplish anything around here. These two are practically inseparable. Being in the garden together is so nice anytime of year. One thing we love is to play music outside on nicer days which also provides Izzy with a wide array of distractions to let us get through a song or two at a time.

Can’t say we love San Luis Valley winters but the Colorado sunny days help ease the discomfort of -40 temps. This was the last day before the hard freeze which means no more digging in the garden among all things and the start of hauling buckets of water to the animals everyday. Also on occasion our composting toilet aka a bucket freezes into a solid block of sawdust....good times. Izzy doesn’t seem to mind the cold.
