This is an update for current and new patrons. Recently, in light of the latest App Store rules, there have been a few queries regarding the preferred method of beta testing. From now on, TestFlight public beta links will be used for most or all builds.

These links will only be shared with Patrons. Although they are public, this is only Apple's naming convention. Everything will remain the same for Patrons except that they no longer need to send UDIDs. Apple's public beta test flight program manages that automatically.

So that you know, TestFlight public beta links require an initial app store review. We have been using internal TestFlight distribution, which does not require a review but requires manually managing approved devices. This method is limited to 100 per year, with only an annual opportunity to cull older devices.

As we continue to grow, we're making strides to improve our processes. While the old method served a handful of patrons, it needed to be more manageable. We're excited that Apple has announced that they now have an official App Store process for emulators, a significant step forward for us.

Currently, there is no exact ETA, as various app store rules apply to all apps that need to be reviewed and edited for Provenance. These include rules such as "No use of Beta text" in the app or app pages linked within the app.

We also plan to remove anything that might trigger Nintendo's reactions, such as logos and branding for their systems.

We understand your eagerness for the release, and we appreciate your patience. We'll be dedicating our full attention to this from today through the weekend, with the aim of getting a release to all by Monday. However, we want to be transparent and not make any hard promises until we've completed a thorough checklist of tasks for a legal upload.

TLDR;
Don't worry about sending me UDIDs. TestFlight links are coming sometime next week.
