Hello all.  The relatives left Tuesday so I was back in full-throttle mode on LDNA.  Post-worked still renders now number 678, up from 600 a week ago.

I've added a couple of very small instances in the update where, while talking to a witness, the player will be asked, basically, whether they have picked up on anything that might be a relevant clue to solving the murder of Amy Mall.  If the player responds in the affirmative, he or she can type in what the clue is.  If whatever the player types is correct, a few additional lines of dialogue about the investigation are unlocked.

So, as a simple hypothetical example, let's say a detective is looking at a dead body.  The player might be asked whether they see anything that suggests a possible cause of death.  The player looks at the body and notices what appears to be a stab wound in the victim's chest.  So they'd type in, "stab wound" or "stabbed" or something like that.   And if the answer is correct, there would be a few lines of dialogue about that.  The player could also just say, "no, I don't notice anything," and the game would continue.

The point isn't for the player to solve the murder of Amy Mall, it's just to make the investigation a little bit more interactive.  Ultimately, the story is dependent on the investigation's progress so I can't make the investigation's advancement dependent on the player.  But these questions might get the player thinking about the evidence and forming their own theories about the investigation.  They are just meant to be a small spot of fun and, as I said, there are just a couple of them.

Okay, not a long update this week.  I'm attaching a couple of preview renders I've already shared on Discord for my Patrons who missed them.

Thank you for your support!
