I agree I didnt much like it when I first saw it. They did try to "corse correct" with the Picard series... at least that is what they intended to do. Season 1 of Picard was yuck. But season 2 was abit better. Season 1 was something that 1/2 way through I was like, "why are you watching this trash" but then I was 1/2 way through and decided to just force myself cause I wanted to finish just to see what they would do... And ugh.... But season 2 was little more watchable. Im scared for season 3...

this movie is not great, but its not awful either. Picard the series does much to finish what it started, and I think you will love the series. As you have said yourself, make up your own mind and try to enjoy without other people telling you what to hate. Sadly the Trek fandom can be very toxic
