I certainly understand Walt's disbelief when Jesse asked for "his half" of the money. Jesse is a grown-ass man and needs to be responsible for his decisions and their consequences; however, in this particular situation, I think Jesse kind of has a point. 1. Jesse's money is only in his car because Walt told him to take his money and get out of town. 2. Walt took Jesse's gun, so when Tuco came knocking, Jesse couldn't (even try to) defend himself. 3. Jesse probably would have gotten away with his money after they shot Tuco, except Hank showed up looking for... Walt. 4. Jesse took one for the team and allowed himself to be dragged in for questioning by the DEA while Walt took a spa day (I joke, but the hospital is better than being grilled by Hank and Gomez). 5. Jesse was evicted from his home because his mother found the laboratory, which they would not have needed to set up in Jesse's basement if Walt hadn't kept promising Tuco more meth than they had the resources to produce. Does Walt owe Jesse half his money in perpetuity and forever? Certainly not. But most of what's happening right now can be traced back to decisions that Walt made for the both of them. So, in this specific circumstance, if it's really a 50/50 partnership, I think it's fair to pay Jesse.

Man super bummed we aren't getting 2 episodes. I get how some people don't think Walt should give Jesse anything but in this instance it's mostly Walt's fault Jesse lost the money. Let's go all the way back to when Walt kept pushing things with Tuco and promising larger amounts that would be tough to come up with. That started a series of events. Then Jesse pled to Walt that they had to strike first and get rid of Tuco now but Walt didn't listen. Jesse did mess up too when mentioning the chili P to Tuco causing him not to take the ricin but All this was equally Walt's fault. Then Jesse followed Walt's plan to a tee allowing Walt to get out of this. And Jesse had the hardest part getting arrested and trying to get the cops to buy his story. I would just split the money with him this one time but let him know this is the last time I'll do this and to be more cautious from now on. It was messed up that Jesse went to his house but Walt kinda forced his hand. Also, as someone who spent 15 months in Iraq and 12 in Afghanistan using Porta potties much of that time, I can literally smell Jesse through the screen lol.

Yea I agree. You could trace the events all the way back to Walt continually pushing Tuco to take more product they didn't even have.
