Kangta was the lead vocalist of H.O.T...they debut in 1996..the most senior of SM boygrp and even kpop ...the original singers of Candy...Kangta debut as a soloist in 2001...he and Boa r the most senior members of SM artist...still very active til today!!!

I love how gagged you get whenever TVXQ or Super Jr. performs (freaking love Max and U-Know. Ryeowook and Yesung have my favorite vocals in SUJU. Great too see Heechul). NCT Wish did incredible - so much improvement, love the new song (Yushi and Ryo and Jahee all impressed me with their vocals. Loved all the adlibs and can't wait to hopefully get the behind to hear them raw vocals). Mark freaking killed me. Doyoung's vocals are incredible as always. Yuta looked really happy performing at home. The collab stages were incredible.

My face hurt by the end of the show, lol. The "Idol" song that Shotaro was part of is a theme song for an anime about an idol (but the anime is kind of...depressing, so it's a strange song to cover, although the style of song is very SM Ent-coded for some reason). Super Junior's antics during the ment was very WayV (especially during NCT Nation with the mess of them having to make a diversion for the staff to get stuff together). That aespa rock version for "Drama" was also used in their MMA performances, but you did see it, so you probably already know. I didn't know it was SM using their own band to make the rock version, so seeing it at SM Town was kind of shocking. Haechan (NCT Dream/NCT 127) was kind of aggressive in the last NCT Dream ("ISTJ") and NCT 127 performances, lol. He jerked his shoulders and head so hard during "2 Baddies" or "Fact Check", his jacket almost came off and he was wearing a top like Mark (NCT Dream/NCT 127) was (a tank top), much like the "Pado" performances for NCT Nation. That guy with the weird black hair in his face was Heechul (Super Junior), but I think you ended up realizing that 100% whenever he kept showing up and showed his face once his hair was tamed. I think the reason Giselle (aespa) was more confident in her dancing for "Zoo" this performance is because she was wearing pants and not a short skirt. She kept having trouble keeping it down and looked awkward with the skirt last performance/s, so it's a relief the stylist fixed that error since it made her happier.

Thank you once again :D and thank you so much for supporting our Wishes! i am so proud of them. Just imagine having debut on Tokyo Dome filled with fans of senior groups from your agency. Also their debut song will be available on streaming platforms on 28th February. Also on that day we will get MV to the song. They already released video that is an introduction (?) to their mv:NCT WISH : Welcome to Cupid Scouting Society!. I recommend to check (in your own time , off camera) because... i don't think you saw something like that before and it's CUTE, like CUTE CUTE. Did I mention that I am proud of our NCT babies? I really am.

max changmin will always gag me with his vocals that man is just something else. jaehyun looked divine as always. yuta killing the stage as always. japan just brings out the beast in him. honestly all the groups did incredible love seeing them on stage. so excited for nct wishs debut theyre honestly gonna be some super rookies i adore them.

Seeing Zhoumi actually performing on SMTown again and especially his duet with Ryeowook made me tear up because it's been so long and it's so good actually seeing him perform again 😭 Making Sohee sing Little Prince with Ryeowook (the og song is by him!) was a big brain decision as well - his voice really suits it! I don't know much about Riize yet (waiting to get to know them until they drop an EP haha), but I really like his voice! I love that you got to witness the chaotic energy that is SJ LMAO I love how TVXQ and SJ are close but have polar opposite energies during ments <3 About Heechul (and yes that was him in the Sorry Sorry performance!) - he can perform from time to time, just not all the time (since a lot of dancing etc is painful because of health reasons) - often in songs he has parts when he can jump in halfway (like in Black Suit and Lo Siento)! You getting shocked every time by TVXQ and SJ during these concerts/stages is so funny because it's such a mood 🤝. SJ going insane during Bonamana is such a Tradition at this point. I feel like you'd LOVE their performance of Sorry Sorry from SS6 because Heechul has an absolutely iconic drum solo there <3

Ohh, I thought he was just overly energetic and taking advantage of the huge stage as everyone was leaving the stage near the end. That makes more sense. Poor Dejun. Several performers were having audio issues, it was embarrassing for SM with all of their money, honestly. Reminded me of MNET and their problems with audio and video.

I thought I was seeing things whenever I saw Zhoumi. I assumed he had left SM + sued them. The last time I saw Zhoumi was whenever Chanyeol + Tao of EXO collaborated with him (and then Tao left EXO and sued SM). Good to know he's still there, even if I hate SM the company. OH, even better news: RIIZE is supposed to drop a mini-album this year, if SM's 2024 album press release thing is correct/to be believed.

Yooo, I nearly go through the same out-of-body experience that Cait does just from seeing her do it, lol. Yuta's not even my bias (NCT 127 as a whole give me warm and fuzzy feelings at different times, during different things, with different members), but just seeing Caitlin's reaction, it's like our reaction mirrors eachother for a brief crazy moment.

i was with you literally every step of the way because every time tvxq! popped up i knew i was about to have my energy DRAINED (in a good way, ofc) and by the time that back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-BACK nct line-up happened near the end i was completely out of it too like... got me shaking ass to baggy jeans then tearing up at wish's debut, then back to bopping with istj, then back to questioning existence because of xiaojun in OMY, and ending it with non-stop 127 BOPS LIKE!!! sm was crazy for that fr and i'm so HAPPY with everything riize had here!! taro's collab with kyuhyun and changmin was so cute, sohee with ryeowook was HEAVENLY, and wonbin doing kai for hot n cold just made so much sense!!! smtown you've done it again i fear !

That was Taeyeon and Jaehyun reunion stage after 5 years! 🥹 They did that same stage during SMTOWN 2019 in Tokyo as well. That went viral at the time so no wonder they brought it back for this year's SMTOWN 😍 I love their stage so much! Their voices too omg. I hope SM give them an official duet song 🙏 and yes, that song STARLIGHT is by TAEYEON but the original featured artist is DEAN 😊 LOL but Taeyeon performed that song with Jaehyun more than she did with Dean 😆 Thank you so much for the reaction, Caitlin! ❤️

This is why everyone should at least watch one Super Show in their lifetime. SuJu are fun and crazy in variety and perform well live for music shows and stuff. But they shine in live concerts. There is really no limit for what they will do on stage. It is energetic and chaotic and can go on for 3-4 hours. For Heechul, this was his first SMTown in years. When SuJu did a fanmeet Leeteuk was telling Heechul how fun it was to have all 9 of them performing together and said it would be fun if Heechul did SMTown with them again. Heechul said yeah it would be fun, let's do it! Heechul also let it be known that as next year is their 20th Anniversary, he will be cutting back on his appearances on variety shows as he wants to perform with SuJu and if possible go on tour with them again. So, he will be taking the next year to prepare himself physically.

I WAS WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY OMG. 😭 I've been a K-Pop fan since 2010, and my first stan/ult group was SuJu. I actually was lucky enough to go to SMTOWN 2011 in Madison Square Garden, and to this day, it's the best concert I've ever been to. I absolutely loved watching you react to this! It's been years since I've seen an SMTOWN/SMCU, and I always forget how much I love and adore these groups until I watch clips from these... I usually don't comment but I wanted to share that the Sohee/Ryeowook stage actually has an adorable story behind it! In an online interview a couple of months ago, Ryeowook reacted to all of the 4th/5th gen SM vocalists. As part of that, they had him react to a clip of Sohee singing his song, "The Little Prince". Ryeowook said he really loved Sohee's voice and wanted Sohee to cover one of his songs, and hoped to sing with him. Having that context made me scream when the song started! It was so adorable to see his wish come to life at SMTOWN/SMCU! The thing is that SM Entertainment is always gonna be SM (AKA they'll always be a mess and on my hit list), but the special stages and the respect, friendship, and love the artists have for each other will always be why I'm an SM artist stan until I die. I love how collaborative and family-like their stages feel. It's so nostalgic and heartwarming to see the generations cycle through over these years, this company's groups have my whole heart forreal. 💖

I watched that interview and I think Ryeowook actually mentioned Doyoung and Taeil’s cover of The Little Prince, not Sohee’s. He did react to Sohee’s get a guitar recording and another cover though and expressed that he liked his voice and he sang really well. And the fact that The Little Prince is one of Sohee’s fav songs he wanted to cover just made me tear up when I saw that duet stage of him and Ryeowook - what a beautiful and heavenly vocal performance that will probably go down SMTOWN history 🥹

OMG, you're totally right! I just skipped to that part again in the interview and Sohee sang a totally different song that he reacted to. I mixed Ryeowook's reaction up with the Doyoung/Taeil reaction lol. 😅 Thanks for catching me on that!! LITERALLY SAME. 😭 Their voices are so gorgeous together! That stage gave me so many feelings. Sohee is my bias in RIIZE and Ryeowook was my second fave in SuJu. It's so crazy to see the groups like SuJu that were only 2-4 years into their careers and at the height of their popularity when I started stanning, being in the senior position like this. This stage will definitely go down in SMTOWN history, and as one of my faves too. 💖

omg yes he did mention twice in the video that he'd love it if Sohee covered one of his songs, and after smtown he said he watched their performance and felt as if he was singing with another version of himself from another planet and singing with his past self, comforting each other. (not sure of the accuracy of the translation i saw though, but i think close enough)

It's been a while since I last commented but that's because I went to see SMTOWN TOKYO live in Japan and did some traveling afterwards!!! Gotta say that the vibe was incredible and the performances were mindblowing. I went there mainly because I want to see SJ with Heechul together on stage, RIIZE's live for the first time, and WISH's debut! The performances that get stuck into my head were: 1. Sohee & Ryeowook's The Little Prince collab (one of the best live vocals I ever heard) 2. aespa's Drama (they were gorgeous as hell and the red dresses are just killers) 3. NCT DREAM's Best Friend Forever + We Go Up (the fans chanting and singing the chorus together were some of the most beautiful things in the world, especially when I'm part of the crowd) 4. IDOL cover by MAX Changmin & Kyuhyun & Shotaro (the energy was crazy) Some special moments for me would be: 1. RIIZE and WISH collab with TVXQ and SJ (apart from the performances, TVXQ and SJ have close bonds because they share similar training periods, which RIIZE and WISH members do as well, this really gave me the wonders of fate) 2. Celebrating Wendy's birthday on DAY 1 (she always has a special place in my heart and it was a pleasure to say 'happy birthday' to her as one of the audience that day) 3. Eunhyuk during HOPE encore on DAY 2 (he walked around every corner of the stage to greet the audience and bow to express thanks, my seat was on the very side that night so it felt so amazing to have the love of my life in this industry walking close to our side and doing such wonderful thing) I wish SMTOWN can come to the US soon. I know I'll go when it comes...

I haven't finished yet, but I'm having so much fun with you already. I totally get you when you start to freak out, lol. I got the privilege to see an SMTOWN live and at the end I was in shock about having experienced all of that. At the time the newest artist was NCT and Wayv still hadn't debuted, so weird to think about it, lol. I was the most impressed with Suju because, even when they weren't my favorite group there, as you said, you can totally feel the change of energy when they perform. They also improvise a lot when talking to the public, so it's really refreshing and fun. I'm really hoping for a new oportunity to see the show.
