Happy Friday everyone! Here's the final episode of AOS for the week - click here to watchalong. Thanks for all of your fun comments on the latest episodes!

Please remember not to confirm or deny my theories as I would naturally prefer to wait until the show does that for us.

Please enjoy! Have a great weekend.

Not really an MCU connection, but a comic Easter Egg for Deathlok is when Fitz's toys were searching for him at the old race track and they found him and Skye changed the spectrum to tell if it's him and it was like an x-ray so you could see the cybernetics. That's the way Deathlok looks in the comics, like a cyborg zombie. I never read his comics, but I feel I saw the covers of his comics back in the 70s? (*ahem*) I mean, someone probably told me about seeing them in the 70s. Eh heh heh. Aaanyway, his comic back then was called "Deathlok: The Demolisher" and I didn't know anything about him. Apparently, there have been multiple Deathloks throughout the history of comics, 5 or 6. Didn't even realize 'til around this time where this aired that there was one that was a black guy. Hard to tell when he looks like a cyborg zombie. Found that out at the last Comicon, I believe, that I went to where I saw some old comics of him. I was like, "He's black?? Oh, cool." Anyway, I thought it was cool that they showed the audience what he looked like in the comics that way to basically say to people who are familiar with him, "Yeah, that's the same guy."

Hey KL! This post is missing tags. I couldn't find it back easily. Now that you've watched the next episode, I can post the comment I wanted to post: CA: Winter Soldier came out 2 days after this episode. That's why there was no end tag to this episode, instead, it was a promo for the movie's theatrical release. The MCU connection is related: Sitwell shows up in this episode, but he can't partake in the mission as he's called away to the Lemurian Star. That's the satellite launch vessel he is then taken hostage in for the opening action sequence of the movie. From my personal experience, CA: Winter Soldier actually released a week earlier here in The Netherlands, so I had watched the movie already when this episode aired. On the one hand it felt kinda cool to be "in the loop" so early. But on the other hand, I was a bit pissed that I was clearly not seeing the events in the order they were intended, and I only had myself to blame. This was a weird thing during Phase 2 where they would release the movies on the Thursday _before_ the US release in many EU countries. Thankfully that changed to a simultaneous worldwide release later on.
