But if you are trying to understand the difference the salient point is that studios owning theaters was deemed to be owning all parts of the supply chain. Tesla or any car manufacturer selling its own cars is not dominating the supply chain. I think you misunderstood the quote above about car companies. The quote describes all that would need to go into making a car company a vertically integrated monopoly. Dealership does not enter into it.
