I have had frustratingly little time to do anything over the last two days as I have been so busy with real life pressures...  which is annoying as I am pretty excited by my Amanda Guild Wars project.

Hopefully tomorrow I can spend some more time.  I didn't want to leave the site for three days with nothing posted, so here is where I am up to.  I have spent a good few hours getting the textures right for Amanda's top and shorts, picking her the right legwear... and the right choker (I went through so many of those - hope you like it!)  Boots - I have spent hours on boots, going through every single thigh boot in the world - I have picked the model but am trying to decide between three textures at the moment and it's agonising... need to leave it another day until I settle on one.

Character/outfit creation is so hard!  Once a picture is made and the outfit is 'set' it's hard to change it.  I am building this outfit from so many components and each one requires loads of checking and research and comparing models from different sets.  I am going back through the Guild Wars wiki checking the outfits and equipment for authenticity...  Amanda still needs: boots (to be finalised), some kind of long frilly coat with fur or feathers, gloves (optional), a mask, a cane (not this boring stand in one but one with a fancy carved head), a sword (needs to be a rapier) then possibly a staff/sceptre or focus.

If you want to see the styles and sources of inspiration for Mesmer outfits then look here:

If there is a specific outfit you like I can try to make it!

Once I have finalised all this I can post some more modelling pics before I send her into battle with that nasty Necromancer.

I noticed 2-3 of you posting keen observations about Guild Wars... ex players please let me know your ideas and comments.

Thanks for your patience!

You know. I could sit and stare at just how beautiful she is for hours on end. I can't imagine how difficult clothing creation is, but as you say it's not easy. So for you to come out with something that looks THIS good is truly remarkable. I love this. I love Amanda. Absolutely top notch
