I have an apprentice. They came to me on twitter asking for art advice and I'm been teaching them for the past 2 months. -- I feel like the old wise master who can't do kung fu like they used to, but still has lots of wisdom to pass on.

This is one of many mini diagrams I've drawn to try to get concepts across for them. Just little thumbnail sketches in the margins of a far far larger canvas.

And here, they just weren't understanding how to do lip placement correctly. They struggle with translating human anatomy onto animals, and this time was particularly painful, so I had to make a doodle
