Anti-Caine, Aybl (Patreon)

As Sonic had his own dark twin, Caine now does too!

YEEEEEEARS ago I made a comic called Chasing Shadows, that introduced this idea to Caine’s story. I had plans to do a full arc, but life happened and I only got through the first part: Mirror Mirror.

I’d spent years on and off thinking about it, and naturally I always planned to bring Aybl back as well after Caine. The story will likely remain the same in key points, but updated and polished… since I HOPE I’m a far better writer now.

Pretty sure I actually lifted Aybl’s color scheme from the original comic, so it’s a nice little thing for me. His outfit may change when I ACTUALLY redo Chasing Shadows, I’m not 100% on the hairdo (but there’s only so many ways you can do these and still look close)… I DO like the feel of him stealing/defacing Caine’s vest though. That’s a keeper!
