so definitely wondering if I'm right on the mark here but ohhhhh my goodness this ruined me because it seems as though Crowley is so desperate to give Aziraphale a reason to stay, that he'd throw himself at Aziraphale without much thought to his own wellbeing/happiness. And Aziraphale, on the other side of this, is trying to find ways to get Crowley to believe he's staying, and that he doesn't need a reason more than Crowley. And that this love will be gentle and soft and mean something to try and prove that point.
