So, after having a think and seeing what other people are offering and the support cost on Patreon I think I need to put forward some changes on my Patreon.

First of all I will have the $10 reward as the new $5 reward as I think asking $10 for some might be too much but other creators on Patreon have had much greater success with this.

The main change will be that over half of my designs will be for you guys only. I've found that I have spent a large amount of time on a lot of these models which is well into the 1000's of hours and have given it away for free. From now on, the majority of my work will by exclusive to you guys as you have supported me doing what I enjoy. To later release the files for free seems to make your paid support redundant if you don't gain anything, in my eyes anyway. I will release some files for free as I always want to support the 3D Printing/cosplay community but it just wont be as often.

To kick this all off I will be keeping the Star Wars DT-29 blaster for you guys along with another two models I've been working on recently.

One of these models is the Half Life Gravity Gun which I've wanted to do for a while so I thought why not start now.

I will be ensuring it has enough space for single and strip LED's so the thing can be lit up in both orange and blue. As you can see from the render I'm about 1/2 way through but a lot of the work will be in splitting it down for printing and designing the electronic installation.

The other quick model is a Jedi Holocron (or a version of it) -

I am still figuring out the easiest way to light this and my current idea is a T10 5W LED car bulb (sidelight bulb). This will give even light coverage as you can by a 12 LED stick using a single connection and be a small and simple replacement if it were to burn out. Once I have it done I will do a bit of an exploded view to show the construction, I will do this for the Gravity Gun as well.

Sounds like good plan. :)

The best thing is that patreon didn't roll out fee changes. I was concidering abandoning it completely.
