I remember we were bleeding light fast trying to get one more shoot in that day.  We were driving along the highway out of the National Park looking for a perfect spot with a dip in the mountains beyond so the sun would be peeking out a few minutes longer, but I ended up stubbornly driving and driving right through the last of the daylight, so that the sun was disappearing by the time we'd walked a minute away from the highway to a random spot - this was not at all a carefully scouted location, but thankfully the desert around Joshua Tree is pretty photogenic all around, so we were able to get those shots Kitty wanted of her with an actual Joshua tree, and with a pastel painted dusk sky no less. Whew!
