Once we got into the more quintessential Joshua Tree landscape, and found a gorgeous boulder pile to play around on as the sun descended in late afternoon, Kitty Malone transformed from this lanky alt model into some other kind of humanoid figure - this sort of narrative popped into my brain that she was an alien visitor new landed on the planet, sent to observe our society, and has just morphed into a facsimile of human form so as to better blend in amongst us (but there is still something uncannily "off" that gives the alien away). 

You will see in this set how I went after shots and angles (and also made editing choices afterwards) that plays up this feeling I got seeing her out there lounging on these ancient boulders in the sun.
