Your confusion in how Simon was suddenly being treated by Kaylee? Classic example of you guys talking so much, you completely missed the exchange where Simon stuck his foot in his mouth again and pissed her off. On a related note, Joss Whedon shows can pack a lot of clever dialogue into some short exchanges, and it's a bit of a bummer watching you miss some of the show's iconic one-liners. Hopefully, one day, you guys will rewatch the show without the pressure of doing a reaction and get to appreciate the stuff you missed the first time around.
