10 Best Elemental Gold Farms (Patreon)

Introduction:

Elemental Materials,

These materials are used in a lot of crafts throughout different expansions,

And can be farmed for amazing gold,

So today we will be going over the 10 Best Elemental Gold Farms,

Let Us Begin.

[1] Primal Shadow – Hellfire Peninsula

Starting off our list at number 1, we have the Primal Shadow Farm.

Located within the Hellfire Peninsula, Primal Shadow is one of the key note items that still sell for a strong amount of gold.

This Item is farmed from the Void Walkers from the Eastern Ridge of Hellfire, where you will find these elementals coming from void tears.

This mobs are perfect due to them being linked to a quest which requires them to have a faster respawn timer.

You are able to farm these mobs indefinitely and as such be able to farm Primal Shadow from these at rapidly fast rate.

It is worth noting that this farm is perfect for group farms as well, which with this respawn rate will increase the amount of this item gathered in an hours farm.

[2] Primal Water – Nagrand (Fishing)

Coming in at number 2, we have the Primal Water Gold Farm,

Located within Nagrand and atop the Elemental Plateau, you are able to farm Motes of water from the Elementals from the area but a better way is to fish from the pools where these elementals are located.

This will of course require the Fishing Skill but for a more laid back farming session,

Along with a reasonable gold per hour, makes it a prize choice for gold farming in a casual way.

[3] Volatile Air – Vortex Pinnacle

Next up we have one that I have covered in the past but still holds true,

This is the Vortex Pinnacle Gold Farm, within this dungeon and up to the first boss you will be farming for Volatile Air.

This comes from the Air Elementals as you make your way to the first boss and by reseting the instance after completing the previous run means that you gain a large amount of Volatile Air within 15 to 20 minutes on the fast and slow end.

I will typically do this when I need to restock my materials for Vial of the Sands crafting but this can be used to sell materials for a good gold per hour.

[4] Essence of Water – Swamp of Sorrows

Following onto this at number 4, we have the Essence of Water Farm.

Located within the Swamp of Sorrows and situated at the bottom left corner of the map.

You are able to farm Essence of Water from the Water Elementals around the near by area.

Essence of water gets its value because of it being used from old world crafts and also the legion enchanting craft for Appearances.

[5] Volatile Fire – Twilight Highlands

Coming in at number 5 we have probably one farm I love doing.

This is the Volatile Fire farm, located within the Twilight Highlands and can either be done solo or in a group.

You will be farming for Fire Elementals for Volatile Fire, Though, you are able to gather more materials through the use of the Potion of Treasure finding.

This potion with a 1 hour duration will grant you additional Loot making your overall gold per hour higher and such you will make more gold.

[6] Volatile Water – Twilight Highlands

Staying Within the same zone at number 6,

Is the volatile Water Farm, this can also be done Solo or in a group and the Potion of Treasure Finding can also be applied for additional Gold.

Volatile Water can be used in a variety of Crafts but the main one is of course the Vial of the Sands mount which requires quite a fair amount of this item to craft.

This in turn increases its value and as such is a prize pick for gold farmers looking for a steady way of making gold.

[7] Primal Fire – Hellfire Peninsula

Coming in at number 7,

We have the Primal Fire Farm,

Located within the Hellfire Peninsula and atop the Throne of Kil'jaeden,

You are able to farm the Fel Fire Elementals for Motes of Fire which upon combining 10 will create a Primal Fire.

Primal Fire is the one of the top Materials within this expansion and is used in an array of gold farms.

It goes without saying that this is something to be doing to make some decent gold.

Though it is wise to space out your hours worth of farming as for some server this does not sell as fast so I would recommend one hour every two weeks or when your supply has been sold.

[8] Primal Mana – Netherstorm

Staying within the same expansion at number 8,

We have the Primal Mana Farm located within the zone of Netherstorm,

Upon the Southern ledge you will find Mana Elementals, these mobs have a fast respawn timer due to it being linked to a questing hub which lots of player clustered.

This is great for us gold farmers as if will go around in a loop esk fashion we will be able to farm these Mana Elementals endlessly. Meaning we will be able to gather more Motes of Mana which will result in us gain more Primal Mana.

This farm is located also in my addon worthit for the farming located and also the estimated gold per hour for your server meaning you will be able to see before you do said gold farm.

[9] Primal Air – Shadowmoon Valley

As for Number 9, we have the gold farm for Primal Air,

Located within the Shadowmoon Valley you will want to make your way over towards the Southern Ledge.

This is where you will find Air Elementals, which provide Motes of Air.

Primal Air is used in a lot of high end crafts and as such it has a good gold per hour for gold farming on average but also around the same rate of sale, much like with Primal Fire.

This farm is definitely one I would suggest trying out if you fancy doing something different than Gathering Professions.

[10] Essence of Air – Silithus

Coming in at last on this list is the Essence of Air Farm,

Located within the Zone of Silithus,

Make your way over towards the top left of the zone,

Here you will find Air Elementals which drop Breath of Wind and Essence of Air,

Both of these materials sell for a decent chunk of gold due to them being used in a lot of old world crafts.

You will want to loop around the mountain in the area slying all Elementals,

By the time you have finished one loop all of the mobs should have respawned meaning you will always have something to slay, which is something we should be looking for as gold farmers.
