How To Prepare For 9.1.5 – WorthIt Report – 24/10/2021 (Patreon)

Introduction:

This week we will be looking at changes that are happening in regards to gold making in 9.1.5 and how we can best prepare to make gold upon it's release.

Mission Tables and Renown:

Upon reaching renown 80 with One character, you will be able to boost your alternative characters up to renown 40. this means all of your alternative characters will be able to use the mission table gold making method and as such gain Steady Gold, Items and Resources every day which can add up to quite a lot of gold.

Increased Shards of Domination and Soul Cinders:

In 9.1.54 we will see an increase in Soul Cinders upon completing Layers 8 To 12 and also players will now be able to run Torghast as much as they want giving more Soul Cinders. This means that more people will be able to get more Legendary items meaning a rise in demand in the market for Legendries.

Along with this we will be seeing an increase to Shards of Domination drop chances  and this opens the market up even more in regards to players obtaining Legendary items.

All in All, this is a great opportunity to get into the Crafted Legendary market and this could be a good item to start batching items before 9.1.5 releases. However, on larger servers I would watch your prices of these items as some of the materials used are getting a buff in drop chance and as such only small batches as this could bring the price down for players to get into said market.

Mining, Skinning, Cloth Drop Rate Increases:

For Gathering Professions and general farming, we will be seeing an increase in Drop Chance in regards to Shadowlands Ore, Leather and Cloth. This will be increased by 20%, meaning you will receive 20% more items when farming these materials and as such selling any stockpiles now would be your best bet in making the most gold.

However, for the first couple of weeks prices will be going up and down and with a 20% increase we should see a higher gold per hour for gold farming with Mining, Skinning and Humanoid farms.

This is definitely a plus for gold Farmers and I would suggest jumping on this for some nice steady gold moving forward.

Prospecting Essence Buff:

Lastly in regards to Prospecting we will see an increase in Drop chance (10%) of Shadowlands Essences from prospecting Shadowlands Ore. This will most likely fluctuate in the first week of the patch as prices will most likely drop due to a higher supply being produced and as such I would suggest selling your essences now for the standard rate but also for the first week Prospect Shadowlands Ores until the prices drop.

However, you can go with the safe route and stick with just selling your Essences now before the price drop occurs and skip the first week until prices adjust, I would give this at least a couple of weeks for prices to stabilize.
