A patron asked about Amy, having seen her in my post about shaped bokeh.

This shoot is about 10 years old and was done in 2 parts. Shooting in Melbourne's Docklands region on the central pier, it started with a fashion theme during golden hour, then we waited until it got dark and shot these square bokeh images with the Bolte bridge in the background.

Technical: Nikon D700 with NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8D lens. Light is from two Nikon SB800 flashes mounted left and right of Amy. Square bokeh is produced by cutting a square in a piece of cardboard and mounting it directly in front of the lens. The exposure time is relatively long (1/4 second) to blend the lights from the bridge with the flash.
