In celebration of Reed arriving in California, having her Patreon for a month as of today and to get our creative juices flowing for the weekend; we decided to release 'The Loft Part II'.

Although every part to this series was shot in the same space, in my mind they all have a completely different feel to the photos. The space was so versatile that the possibilities were some what endless. While some of the sets will have some of the same parts of the loft in the background, they were all shot from different angles and perspectives. It creates a flow between the several sets but also provides a diversity between them as well.

This part, Part II, was shot in the highly reflective gloss gold table in the middle of the space. With the same light pouring in through the windows we still had some of the best natural light I have ever worked with. The gloss gold provides an intense glow around Reed in some of the photos when the windows are behind her.

With the outfits she brought along with her for the weekend, it almost felt like we had been in the loft before, we knew what to expect and what outfits to bring. This set of lingerie worked perfectly.  the gold accents fit well with the table while the dark blue contrasted nicely.

All of these sets were shot in one day. We woke up on this Saturday at about 7A.M. Reed got ready and we started shooting at about 8:30A.M. For the next several hours it was shoot, change, repeat. We have never shot so many different looks in such a short amount of time. I believe the most that we have done was maybe three in one day, but certainly not seven.

Creating is surprising taxing on your body and your mind, especially for the model. Constantly on their toes, bending in strange ways they're body is not used to. Whoever said "modeling is easy," you are completely wrong. By the end of a full day both model and photographer are exhausted.

The day of is only the beginning. What seems like endless hours of sorting and editing lay ahead. As I said in Part I, I rather do not mind it. Being able to sit in a computer chair, stare at beautiful women for hours on end to sit back and look at the final product is probably one of my favorite feelings. The actual shoot is the fun part, but looking through the set when it is all said and done is when the feelings of reward and achievement surface. Besides our first collaboration being 'The Stance Series' I have to say this project, 'The Loft' sits right up in those same high ranks.

Since the book was the main objective with this project we made sure that we put just as much effort into that as we did the rest of the process. The photographs contained inside the book were carefully hand picked by both myself and Reed. Although the photos will never be printed again, we picked some of our favorite ones to go into 'Reed X AW Media Vol. II." It is a strange feeling to tell myself that I can never again print those photos. A small portion of that feeling is sadness that I can not vastly distribute the photo for many to enjoy a hard copy of it, but more so excitement that only a select number get to own one.

Since the photos that went into Volume II were some of our favorites, we also made the decision to share them in these sets on Patreon. As stated in Part I, neither of us will ever say what pictures made it into the book. This way, all of our patrons get to see the set in entirety, but we still get to keep the exclusivity.

I hope you, my patrons, enjoy Part II. There is still so much more to come from 'The Loft' with Reed. You are going to have to head on over to her Patreon and pledge $5 or more in order to see what exclusives she had to hers.
