I always say NO struggle lies, in my Opinion I think that the broken phone finesse is not a struggle lie.

IF you’re  talking to a POT and a few weeks later “your phone breaks” I definitely would stress to him how you need a phone.

I’ve used “the broken phone” finesse so many times if when my phone wasn’t broken and I just knew they would 🙃 buy me a phone then I could sell it And pocket $400-$600 or sell my old phone and keep the new one they bought me.

This isn’t a finesse that I would necessarily use all the time but I think you know when someone really cares about you and the things you have and really wants you to be happy then it should  be no issue bringing up that you need a new phone .🙂

THIS will especially work for SD’s or potential SD’s who want to FaceTime you on video chat you if your Phone screen  is “cracked“... how can they possibly FaceTime you 🥴

“baby I would love to FaceTime you and see your face all the time but unfortunately my phone screen is cracked “

I would definitely ask him to upgrade you to a iPhone X / iPhone 11 or whatever you can get out of them even if you need a iPad and you can do the broken iPad  finesse.

Sidenote: If they ask you how did you take a picture of your phone being broke in our blasé blasé blah you can easily say that you took it on somebody else’s phone I will also TEXT them from a random number and be like “this is Chanel ☹️😫 my phone is broke” and send him a picture of the phone and be like “right now I’m using my iPad to text or I’m using my friends phone to text“.
